WHAT'S IN YOUR CANDLE?

The differences between coconut wax, soy wax, and paraffin.

COCONUT WAX - OUR FAVORITE

Made from coconut oil, it is a natural and renewable resource. It has a creamy white color, is clean and slow burning, produces minimal soot and has the longest burn time compared to paraffin and soy. It is more expensive than soy and paraffin wax, but is considered eco-friendly.

SOY WAX - RUNNER UP

Made from soybean oil, it is biodegradable and renewable. Like coconut wax, it burns cleanly and evenly, producing minimal soot. It also has a longer burn time than paraffin wax. However, it may not hold fragrance as well as paraffin or coconut wax.

PARAFFIN WAX - IN LAST
Made from petroleum, it is the most commonly used wax for mass-produced candles. It is inexpensive, has a good fragrance throw, and can hold color well. However, it can produce soot when burned and burns very quickly compared to other waxes.
